The Bachelor's programme International Engineering (BSc) at Technische Hochschule Mannheim guarantees significant real-world relevance. You can expect a multifaceted degree course. The Bachelor's programme in International Engineering (INB) offers a unique, interdisciplinary foundation, covering all essential disciplines of natural and engineering sciences. The emphasis is on topics in: Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Process Engineering Electrical Engineering contains electrical engineering megatrends such as automation, Internet of Things (IoT), energy technology, renewable energies, e-mobility and autonomous driving. Mechanical Engineering focuses on mechanical engineering topics such as the design of wind turbines, the optimisation of engines, battery research or the creation of digital twins of complex technical systems or automated production lines. Process Engineering is about developing processes in which materials are changed to manufacture products, e.g. biodegradable plastics from renewable raw materials or removing greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide from exhaust gases to protect the climate. The programme is designed for both international students and German applicants with a strong intercultural interest. Our students will participate in a multilateral course of studies. This programme includes the fields of electrical, mechanical and process engineering. You can expect classes with a lot of practical activity state-of-the-art laboratories individual support and small teaching groups close contact with regional and international industrial partners interesting content, future-oriented projects, and a lot of fun. Career fields and opportunities Graduates of engineering programmes, both Bachelor and Master, are highly sought after in many areas. International engineers are irreplaceable today and in the future, in important areas such as mobility, sustainable use of our resources or intelligent networks and secure production systems. Engineers with this background will receive excellent pay and future prospects. The career opportunities are many and varied, such as project management in technical development, in production but also in sales. Many follow a career in management.
