About the Program

The interdisciplinary subject of artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most important technologies of the future and combines the various directions of engineering with neuroscience, learning sciences and computer science. AI pursues the goal of transferring the higher intelligent abilities of humans (cognitive abilities) to machines. The Bachelor's degree programme comprises seven semesters, including basic modules teaching technical and computer science subjects, psychological foundations of perception, thinking and learning, and specialization semesters focusing on algorithms and technical systems. The program includes practical projects and application semesters where students learn to apply AI methods to Industry 4.0, humanoid robots, intelligent assistance systems, and mobile AI applications.
