About the Program

Artificial Intelligence & Extended Reality (AI&XR) is a tuition-free English master's programme offered by the University of Würzburg together with its Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (CAIDAS). AI&XR aims to train highly qualified specialists in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The program provides students with advanced skills and competencies in the analysis, development, and evaluation of AIs, from old proven systems to the newest state-of-the-art. Additionally, AI&XR focuses on combining AI systems with extended (virtual and augmented) reality (XR) tools to provide a new, interactive medium that allows for the combination of human and machine intelligence. The program offers a multidisciplinary research platform for the integration of AI/XR methods into different scientific fields and daily life.
