AntiquityPLUS offers a study of the Greco-Roman world in all its facets: The program takes an intensive look at material evidence, the history and literature of Greece and Rome from a cultural studies perspective. The "plus" in the name refers to a broad and flexible required elective area that can be used either to deepen and specialize knowledge of classical studies or for practice-oriented professional preparation. The BA profile in AntiquityPLUS allows students to comprehensively research Greek and Roman antiquity from the perspectives of Ancient History, Classical Archaeology and Classical Philology (Latin and Greek). The program is unique in Germany and combines historical knowledge with questions of modern times. The structure includes 120 ECTS in Ancient History, Classical Archaeology and Classical Philology, 40 ECTS in required elective areas including internship, and 20 ECTS for Bachelor's Thesis, interdisciplinary colloquium, and Studium.Pro.
