Applied Computer Science is about using IT for everyday life or scientific fields. It is practice-orientated Computer Science. Computer Science is used to solve problems - even in areas outside of computer science - and improve products. The program focuses on robotics, artificial intelligence, automation technology and the Internet of Things. In this degree programme, you will be involved in the development of IT systems for such technologies. You will learn how to structure and process data intelligently and how to skilfully adapt and use algorithms. Programming, software development and project management are just as much a part of the degree programme as learning about computer structures and architectures and developing automated processes.
