About the Program

Digitalisation, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, the Internet of Things and virtual realities are already influencing our everyday lives today and will change our lives in fundamental ways in the near future. The degree programme Applied Computer Science takes this change into account. The program offers comprehensive knowledge in various areas of applied computer science, including programming and IT infrastructures. During the studies, students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in both academic and professional settings. In the first three semesters, students focus on topics such as programming, web and mobile technologies, databases and IT infrastructures, along with basics of mathematics, languages, social skills and IT-related legal issues. The program includes practical modules in companies or at the university to ensure close integration of theory and practice.
