About the Program

Master degree program with an emphasis on automotive engineering. Course contents include: Advanced Mathematics and Mechanics, Advanced Fluid Mechanics and Simulation, Finite Element Methods and Multiple-Body Simulation, Vehicle Propulsion Technology, Body Development, Driving Dynamics and Safety, Alternative Drives, Automotive Mechatronics, Operational Stability / Lightweight Construction, Passive Safety, Advanced Project Management. The program is modularly-structured with a standard period of study of four semesters. Six modules each are required in the five theoretical semesters, each awarded five credit points. The Master Thesis is completed in the fourth semester. A total of 120 credit points are required for the M.Sc. degree. The third semester includes an elective module catalog with 15 credit points, allowing for practice-oriented units (seminar paper and Master project).
