About the Program

The bachelor's degree programme in biomechanics combines engineering fundamentals with the special disciplines of biomechanics. In the first part of the programme, the focus is on the engineering fundamentals of mathematics, mechanics, construction, materials engineering, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. In the second part of the programme, there is a specific focus on biomechanics with the sub-areas of human-machine interaction and sports and rehabilitation technology. The focus ranges from movement analysis to Paralympics sports equipment to high-performance sports. The degree programme is the only one offered in this form at a Bavarian university to date. As a graduate of the degree programme, specialist and management tasks in the areas of product design and development, production and project management are open to you.
