Bewegung ist Leben. Our movement apparatus fulfills mechanical and biological tasks. Understanding its structure and especially the interactions between acting forces and biological reactions is essential for addressing issues in medical technology, rehabilitation technology, sports science, and ergonomics. The interdisciplinary Bachelor's program in Biomechanics provides students with the necessary competencies from engineering and medicine. The program covers topics from sports, orthopedics, ergonomics, and bicycle technology. The foundation consists of solid basic knowledge in mathematics, physics, computer science, biosciences, and technical mechanics.
