Business Administration

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

About the Program

Business administration (BWL) is the economic analysis about the "management" of "businesses". In this context, "business" is a more specific traditional term for companies. The term "management" is understood as the responsible use of limited resources. In other words, business administration is fundamentally concerned with the study of how companies use resources such as raw materials, goods, personnel and capital, and with the development of knowledge and instruments for organizing company activities in all their dimensions in such a way that the input/output relation is as optimal as possible. This is a Combined Bachelor of Arts program that can be studied only as second major or as minor subject. The program combines either a bachelor's subject with a second major subject, or a bachelor's subject with two minor subjects.
