About the Program

The Bachelor's program comprises 180 ECTS credits distributed over 6 semesters. Students must earn 90 credits each in the core and specialization areas. The core area consists mainly of mandatory modules in Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Systems, and Law. In the specialization area, students must complete 9 elective modules that can be selected from the Faculty of Economics' current offerings according to the module handbook. Of these 9 elective modules, at least 4 must be from Business Administration (24 credits). Students must also complete an elective module with an empirical case study seminar or specialized seminar from Business Administration. Otherwise, students can freely combine the 9 elective modules from the Faculty's offerings ("Cafeteria Principle"). The program also includes two modules in the supplementary area that teach self, language, methodological, gender, and self-competencies as well as non-subject-specific and subject-related fundamentals (in the form of liberal studies). The scientific education concludes with the Bachelor's thesis, which can be written in German or English.
