About the Program

The music pedagogical certificate studies program focuses on the acquisition of artistic and pedagogical skills in another instrument (classical or jazz), in singing, in elementary music pedagogy as well as in composition or ear training. The two-year course is modular and can be completed while working. It is structured according to the concept of self-qualification and self-organization, offering action-oriented learning and practical practice on a scientific basis. Certificate studies can also be taken parallel to an artistic-pedagogical bachelor's degree or a teaching degree from the 5th - 8th semester. The program is not accredited according to the Bavarian Study Accreditation Ordinance (BayStudAkkV).
