Civil Engineering - Infrastructure Water and Mobility

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

About the Program

The Master's program builds directly on the study content of the preceding Bachelor's program with a specific focus on Infrastructure and Environmental Planning. In the mandatory area, fundamental topics in the fields of water, transport, as well as construction operations and infrastructure management are deepened. The ability to work independently and scientifically is strengthened with interdisciplinary courses on Scientific Methods, GIS as a Planning Tool, and the Interdisciplinary Project Work module. The newly designed program offers the opportunity for profile formation. The Water profile deepens topics in hydromechanics, urban water management, wastewater treatment, or near-natural hydraulic engineering. Digital data processing is also covered. The Transport and City profile focuses on transport planning and modeling as well as public transport issues, but also on urban development planning and local renewal. In addition to construction process technology for tunnel construction, construction site handling and construction project management, the Construction Operations and Infrastructure Management profile also deepens the topics of maintenance management and geotechnics. Students can also choose a free profile that covers the entire thematic spectrum of the Master's program.
