About the Program

The programme 'Climate adapted Construction and Operation' teaches the building of energy and resource efficient buildings and their efficient operation. The teaching covers aspects of building design, building materials and technical building equipment, and in particular deals with the use of renewable energies. A special feature of the course is its interdisciplinary approach, which is reflected both in teaching and in the composition of the programme participants. Planning projects represent an important aspect of the study programme; here students can apply various aspects of climate-adapted construction in joint working groups. Both new buildings as well as the special features of existing buildings are taken into account. Academic work (master's project and master's thesis) can be carried out in connection with the current research projects of the faculty.
