About the Program

This is an English-language, strongly research-focused and comprehensively interdisciplinary degree programme, systematically integrating philosophy, psychology, neuroinformatics and empirical neuroscience. It provides the opportunity to specialise in the following fields: systematic philosophy, psychology, neuroinformatics, empirical neuroscience, and cognitive science. The program explores questions such as the basic mechanisms of learning, forgetting, and remembering; the role of emotions in cognitive processing; neural processes underlying object recognition; concepts and rationality; and the evolution of cognitive capacities in humans and animals.
