The focus of computational life sciences and medical informatics is human health. Digitalisation and informatics play a crucial role by automating processes, analysing data and simulating biological processes to make them understandable. The Computational Life Science (aka Bio- and Medical Informatics) degree programme is for those who want to work in a growing industry that cares about people's health. Here, skills from computer science, health and natural sciences are taught. Through internships and projects, methodological and social skills are strengthened and there is also a module on entrepreneurship to prepare students for founding their own start-up in the health sector.
