About the Program

In the Bachelor's degree programme Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, students acquire up-to-date knowledge about applied computing and the design of computer-based systems. Fundamental computer science modules include programming, software engineering, web technologies, database systems and big data, data visualization and human-computer interfaces. The programme also covers central AI topics including computer vision, natural language understanding, expert systems, heuristic optimization, intelligent agents, machine learning and neural networks. Students deal with ethical issues, data privacy and security problems associated with information processing systems. They learn to work scientifically in teams and to transfer scientific results into professional practice as well as to communicate and present such results convincingly.
