About the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science programme is designed to teach you how to use computer science to solve real-world problems. You'll learn a structured approach to engineering systems, focusing on the steps of analysing, planning, designing, and building complex computer systems. You'll also discover how to organise the development process effectively. Moreover, you will gain practical knowledge about modern operating systems, computer architecture, and networks. This knowledge will empower you to create projects and manage technology-related processes in a business setting. At the start of your Bachelor’s degree programme, you will engage in introductory courses covering computer science and programming languages as well as essential subjects in mathematics and statistics, which are fundamental to various fields within computer science. Furthermore, the programme will encompass studies in artificial intelligence, algorithms, data structures, data science, and data analytics. Among the key topics you will explore are: Data Bases and Information Systems Cloud Computing Software Engineering  Computer Networks Automata, Computability, and Complexity UX & Web Technology Information Security and Data Protection Our study programmes prepare students for the demands of globally operating companies and qualify them for entry-level positions in all relevant fields in those companies. Regular feedback from cooperation partners indicates that our Bachelor's and Master's programmes meet market requirements.
