Computer Science Work Study Program

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

About the Program

The dual Master's program in Computer Science combines theoretical studies with practical work experience in a company. Students complete over 50% of their coursework through practical activities in a company, allowing them to immediately apply and deepen the competencies acquired in their courses. This creates a strong connection between theory and practice. Students attend the same mandatory and profile elective courses as full-time students but need fewer ECTS points in electives. Instead, they complete modules like 'Mentor-guided Practical Activity' and a 'Project' in their chosen company. The program concludes with a Master's thesis (30 ECTS) written at the company. Of the 90 ECTS required, 54 ECTS are earned through work at the company. The program offers profile specializations and can be started in either summer or winter semester.
