Conducting Orchestra

Master of Music (M.Mus.)

About the Program

The "Master of Music Conducting Orchestra" course is aimed at graduating conductors whose performance and talent clearly indicate that they are capable of a successful career in concert life. Using exemplary works from the repertoire, all aspects of working with the orchestra are examined and the development of the student's own artistic personality is encouraged. In addition, score playing and ear training with a focus on intonation are deepened and impulses from the field of early and new music are made possible. The conducting class works with a professional orchestra at least once a semester and presents the results of this collaboration in the university's concert hall.
