About the Program
Graduates of the Bachelor's in Curative Education are comprehensively prepared for the responsible task of professional assistance. In particular, they are capable of well-founded conceptual work. The degree qualifies for activities in youth welfare and in institutions for people with disabilities, in therapeutic practice, or for leadership positions in curative education and social therapeutic institutions. The program also prepares students for Master's studies.
The courses cover the basics of educational science, anthropology, ethics, and social law. In addition, the history, theories, and models of curative education are addressed. Besides several practical phases, artistic elements are also part of the studies: painting, sculpting, eurythmy, and music play a major role, especially regarding their therapeutic application possibilities. The General Studies (philosophy, art and cultural history) complete the program.
