About the Program

This course covers the theoretical foundations required to analyze large amounts of data ("big data"). Students learn to apply selected machine learning methods using Python and to present, interpret and critically evaluate the resulting findings. The course includes introduction to data structures, databases, data plausibility checks, supervised learning (classification and regression models), unsupervised learning (cluster analysis, association analysis), and text-generating AI. Students also explore the opportunities and risks of data analysis and develop their own ethical standpoint.
