About the Program

The Master of Arts in Digital Design trains specialists for the digital future. Digital design is the design of digital solutions that use technical possibilities to improve the user-friendliness of an app or software product and make it more attractive. This requires a digital designer as a visionary, designer, process and system thinker and creator whose expertise is used to create a digital application. The program focuses on expanding the concept of design from classic products to services and product-service systems, complemented by technological, methodological, strategic, ethical and scientific competences. Graduates are able to scientifically analyse the field of digital design, work on scientific issues using scientific methods, and gain their own insights. The degree enables students to embark on a doctoral project in the field of design research.
