Digital Law LLB

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)

About the Program

The Digital Law LLB is an interdisciplinary program that combines comprehensive knowledge in central compulsory legal subjects with the digitalization of law. In six semesters, students learn about the opportunities of 'legal tech' for lawyers, including Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Smart Contracts. The program teaches how digital analysis tools process large amounts of data, how modern IT speeds up communication with clients, courts, and authorities, and how intelligent law firm software facilitates daily work. Students also learn about developing new business models with chatbots, intelligent search engines, advisory platforms, and online forms of alternative dispute resolution. The program maintains university academic standards while being geared toward professional activity, with students attending courses from both traditional legal training and the Faculty of Computer and Data Sciences.
