About the Program

In times of advancing digitalization, this Master's degree teaches students skills that enable them to make marketing decisions using technical possibilities. In-depth knowledge of the fields of marketing, business informatics, communication design and media production is taught. During the course, students acquire in-depth knowledge of online and social media marketing as well as performance marketing. Students deal with various digital strategies, deepen their knowledge in the field of customer experience management and assess and create user interfaces. The aim of the course is to impart comprehensive skills that enable students to meet practical requirements professionally and responsibly. They acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze and solve marketing challenges in the context of new media in a goal-oriented manner. The Master's in Digital Marketing has a special, highly topical profile within Germany thanks to the teaching of extensive design-oriented skills and its connection to the Faculty of Computer Science. After completing the compulsory area, students can deepen their skills in one of the following profile lines: Business Informatics profile line (focusing on management processes in the service sector, smart services, IT consulting) or Media profile line (focusing on media production skills, particularly in 3D content creation, immersive media and studio video production).
