About the Program

Economics is divided into economics and business administration: economics deals with macroeconomic aspects, i.e. it investigates the interactions between all those involved in economic life (state, companies, private households, consumers). Business administration, on the other hand, focuses more on individual economic aspects and examines the interdependencies within individual companies or households. This subject teaches basic economic concepts and economic thinking based on a methodological, analytical and research-oriented approach. It also provides opportunities for students to develop their own profile through various elective modules. The degree program is designed to enable students to recognize and understand fundamental economic correlations. Students learn to analyze economic issues from selected focus areas and work toward their mitigation in a solutions-oriented manner using suitable methods. This subject must be combined with a second subject.
