About the Program

This Bachelor's degree course in Education and Learning in Childhood qualifies graduates to provide early enrichment and support to children and young people up to the age of 14. The course brings together theory, practice and research and encourages students to reflect on their journeys. The first three semesters focus on foundational classes in education science, psychology, social sciences, law, and empirical methodologies. In semester four, students are introduced to three focal areas: Developing competencies in childhood, Providing advisory services to families, and Institutional development and management. The fifth and sixth semesters involve theoretical and practical exploration of two chosen focal areas through a project. The course ends with a Bachelor thesis in semester seven. Throughout semesters one to six, students complete 180 hours each semester in practical placements with supervision and support.
