About the Program

Students of Computer Science focus on the planning, modelling, design and implementation of complex software and hardware systems and processes. Graduates of the computer science degree programme component in the Master of Education, profile 'teaching degree Gymnasium' have knowledge of practical, theoretical, technical and applied computer science as well as of mathematical methods. The program prepares students for a future teaching job, enabling them to independently plan, conduct, document and present comprehensive projects of relevance to computer science. The modules in the degree programme component in computer science comprise 18 credits for theory and methodology (TM) and 13 credits in specialised didactics (SD).
