About the Program

In the master's degree program Educational Sciences - Consulting and Organizational Development, you study diverse issues in empirical educational research that affect individual and organizational learning and educational processes. The program also includes the planning, management, and evaluation of different public and private educational organizations. The program is characterized by its close coupling of theoretical analysis and both empirical research activities as well as practical activities that explore career fields in the discipline. Students learn the pedagogical, psychological, and social science foundations of contemporary education management. Further, they learn methodological basic principles of empirical educational research as well as methodological knowledge and skills that enable them to apply evaluation and quality assurance measures in educational work. The curriculum enables students to independently design and implement research and evaluation projects. You are able to create your own individual profile by choosing between the fields of action school and professional education. You can also choose between the organizational principles Intercultural Educational Planning and Development and Gender and Organization.
