About the Program

Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is an engineering discipline whose methods and products can be found in all areas of daily life. This program lays the foundation for a professional career that is hard to beat in its diversity. The program offers a broad basic education and appropriate specialization. In the first three semesters, the necessary knowledge in mathematics, physics, computer science, and technical fundamentals such as electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, measurement technology, electronics, control engineering, and control technology are taught. From the 3rd semester, four different study profiles (specializations) are offered: Automation Technology (AT), Electrical Power Engineering (EET), Electronic Circuit Technology and Signal Processing (EES), or Information Technology/Automation Systems (IAS). In the 6th semester, students complete a practical project and create their bachelor's thesis.
