About the Program

The Master's programme in Energy and Automation Systems (MEA) combines the core topics of energy and automation technology in an interdisciplinary approach. The core of the training programme focuses on teaching methodological skills in specialisation in control engineering methods, control and drive technology, process planning and process automation, efficient systems, intelligent systems, system optimisation, energy conversion, energy storage, power electronics and power supply technology. During your studies, you will acquire skills in the planning, development, construction and operation of energy and automation systems, such as those used in the automotive and aviation industries, in renewable energy generation, in the field of battery storage technology and in process automation in production companies. The standard duration of studies is three semesters and comprises 90 ECTS credits.
