Industrial engineers should be able to recognise problems and processes in the area of conflict between engineering and business sciences, solve them creatively and ultimately be able to assess and evaluate the consequences of their decisions. The program provides not only specialised technological or business qualification, but also versatile skills for mastering management tasks. The extensive options in the technical field are organised along three profile lines: Mobility, Energy Systems and Modern Production, complemented by business subjects. The practical and final phase in the last semester ensures targeted preparation for future careers. It is possible to complete the degree programme with an international focus, with an integrated semester abroad providing students with intercultural skills for the international labour market. Career prospects are rated as very good with starting salaries for industrial engineers in the region of 40,000 and 43,000 euros.
