About the Program
The Bachelor's program in Engineering Education is jointly managed by Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and Technische Hochschule Georg Simon Ohm (Ohm). It is part of the Bachelor's and Master's teacher training for vocational schools in the field of building technology and, after completing the Master's program, qualifies graduates to participate in the Bavarian state study seminar (teaching internship). The program combines scientific teaching modules from the Faculty of Civil Engineering (Ohm) with vocational education university modules from FAU and modules in the chosen second subject at FAU.
