About the Program

Germany is economically well connected with the English-speaking world. Companies and authorities therefore always need staff with good economic and linguistic-cultural knowledge of the English-speaking world. The Master's degree course in English and American Culture and Business Studies offers Bachelor's graduates an application-oriented course in the humanities. Over the course of four semesters, students deal comprehensively with the areas of language and culture as well as business studies. They not only deepen their knowledge of linguistics, literature and cultural studies, they also learn how to use the language competently at level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and also acquire knowledge in the fields of finance and economic policy, finance, taxes and law, corporate accounting, accounting and others.
