Environmental Ethics

Master of Arts (M.A.)

About the Program

The Master's degree programme in Environmental Ethics combines perspectives from the natural sciences and the humanities and aims to assess ecological problems from a normative perspective. Since environmental ethics can only become concrete when it also becomes knowledgeable about the factual issues, the Master's degree programme is interdisciplinary. Students are familiarised with the dimensions of ecological action and ecological problem areas in a multidisciplinary way and are enabled to integrate subject-specific approaches ethically. This profile makes the programme unique in this form in the German study landscape.
