Evidence-Based Nursing

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

The part-time Bachelor's program aims to qualify nursing professionals at an academic level, building on their vocational nursing training, to develop and implement evidence-based solutions for complex care situations. The qualification goal is to enable students to identify problems in patient care, set up their own clinical studies, reflect on the results against the background of general research, and transfer evidence-based practices into their nursing practice. Graduates will be able to develop evidence-based quality-oriented concepts for various care settings in clinical, inpatient, and outpatient nursing areas, and to guide relatives. They use innovative, digital solutions while considering economic resource aspects. Graduates are qualified to develop holistic cross-sector care concepts in interdisciplinary teams beyond the nursing science perspective and to establish them with a view to the best possible patient outcome.
