Fundamentals and Applications of Mechanical Engineering

About the Program

The FAME master's program is a completely redesigned, English-language study program that opens the door to the most challenging and exciting jobs in research, development, and industry. Building on existing engineering knowledge, you will deepen your expertise in areas such as design and production engineering, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, control engineering, and project management. The program includes modern laboratories, practical projects, close cooperation with industry partners and research institutions, and a one-semester internship. The program comprises four semesters (120 ECTS) and is divided into several blocks: Engineering Fundamentals (I, II, III), Language and Culture, Focus Fields (with over 140 different subjects), Engineering Practice Term, and Master's thesis. Students can choose from seven focus field options: Automotive Engineering and Advanced Mobility, Automation, Robotics and Mechanics, Biomedical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Manufacturing, Medical, Optical and Precision Engineering, or Systems and Technology Development. In the Engineering Practice Term, students choose between an Industrial Internship Module or an Academic Research Module. This study program is expected to begin in the winter semester of 2026/27 and is still subject to approval by the MWK (Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst). Career prospects include positions as Development Engineer, Project Manager in plant or mechanical engineering, Calculation Engineer, Manufacturing and Production Engineer, and Research Engineer with the possibility of pursuing a doctorate.

* Gerekli minimum derece: Makine Mühendisliği veya yakından ilgili bir alanda en az altı dönemlik bir Bachelor derecesi
* Makine Mühendisliği Bachelor derecesini tamamlamak için gerekenlere eşdeğer bilgi ve beceriler
