About the Program

The interdisciplinary Master's program in Gender & Queer Studies addresses graduates with different professional backgrounds. Students are provided gender expertise in order to promote (gender) equality as well as (gender) research in academic and non-academic environments. The qualification is related to the students' individual skills and knowledge gained from previous studies, e.g. in political consulting, human resources development, product design or counseling. This is a joint program of University of Cologne and TH Köln in cooperation with Cologne University of Music. Lectures and seminars take place on different campuses.
