About the Program

The cooperative MBA program of the Transatlantic Institute of the University of Business and Society (HWG) and the College of Business of the University of West Florida (UWF) offers the opportunity to obtain an international university degree without a lengthy stay abroad. Professors from international universities lead the in-person courses at the Transatlantic Institute of the University of Business and Society Ludwigshafen. All lectures are held in English. At the beginning and end of the program, students spend two weeks each on the campus of the University of West Florida in Pensacola. The program covers all classic and current topics that characterize an MBA in General and International Management, including quantitative methods, macroeconomic relationships, accounting, financial management, operations management, marketing, and the use of modern information technologies in a business context. Leadership qualifications are taught in courses such as 'Management and Organizational Behavior' and 'Advanced Managerial Economics'. The program concludes with a comprehensive management course 'Strategic Management and Policy Formulation'.
