About the Program

The M.Sc. in Health Sciences is a four-semester, research-oriented Master's degree course. Students are prepared for research as well as managerial positions in the growing field of public health and healthcare, in both public and private settings. They acquire knowledge and skills for future responsibilities in diverse areas, such as health systems and policy, surveillance, evaluation and quality management. The first two semesters consist of modules conveying skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods. The third semester is devoted entirely to research and training, allowing students to apply and practice the competencies acquired. The course culminates in a Master's thesis in the fourth semester.
