About the Program

History is an encounter with the unfamiliar, a journey into other times, worlds and cultures. The Bachelor's programme in History integrates the subject areas of economic and social history, non-European and Eastern European history from the beginning. Students will acquire skills in researching historical events, analyzing sources, investigating regional and global interconnections, and develop key skills in presentation and communication. The program covers various epochs including Ancient History, Middle Ages, Early Modern Times, and Modern Times, with specialized focus areas available.
