The objective of the modularized, four semester History Master's program is to expand historical knowledge in various fields of historical studies, non-exclusive, major topic immersion in a historical epoch and to perfect the application of scientific methods and discipline-specific working methods. Your personal, epoch-based major topic can be in: Ancient history, Medieval history, Recent and modern history or Economic and social history. The program has a decidedly research-oriented focus and also prepares you for a scholarly career path. Potential career fields include: Archiving, (Historical) museums, Foundations and publishing, Libraries, Journalism and media, History marketing, Tourism, and Application-based IT.
