About the Program

During this course, you will discover how one of the world's most influential bodies – the European Union – is structured and governed. The course will offer you insights into European governance by dealing with the competences and decision-making powers of the various bodies. It will also explore issues such as protecting the interests of creditors, shareholders, and stakeholders, and it will discuss the EU's attempts to harmonise national corporate laws. The course includes weekly educational visits to important EU and German institutions, which will offer you an insight into the workings of the EU. Our "German Culture & Society: Intercultural Perspectives" module will also offer you the chance to reflect on your cross-cultural experiences in greater detail.
