About the Program

Students on the Human-Technology Interaction programme learn to develop and implement technical solutions to social and socio-cultural problems. The focus of the programme is on the development of technology that seeks to meet the everyday needs of various living environments and which incorporates experts in relevant subject areas, affected individuals and the users of products in a participatory manner. The objective of the programme is to thoroughly prepare the students for these varied challenges through a combination of the theoretical principles of psychology, technology and the social sciences, as well as through interdisciplinary practical projects. The content of the programme consists of elements of psychology, electrical engineering and the social sciences. Each semester includes courses in fields such as principles of social science, psychology and methodology; health and sickness; humans and technology in society; natural sciences and technology; construction and production; and practical project work. In the final semester the students complete a 12-week internship and write their Bachelor's thesis.
