About the Program

The study programme offers a comprehensive and interdisciplinary education. Students acquire practical skills through various projects and internships as well as basic knowledge in mathematics, engineering, economics and business administration (compulsory modules). This enables students to solve complex tasks that inherent economical and technological aspects. They are capable of designing, controlling and implementing logistics processes and systems, as well as global production and transporting networks. They acquire knowledge and skills to organize the flow of commodities and information, the partnership between logistics service providers and their worldwide customers and to design products of material handling systems. The logistics study programme offers a broad, demanding and interdisciplinary education in both scientific and application-oriented aspects. The Logistik Werktstatt as a concept of modern education forms the core of the task oriented study programme and is unique in Germany.
