About the Program

The Minor Programme Integrated Product Design responds to the increasingly complex context of product development in an interconnected, globalized and digitalized world. It provides exchange students with a valuable skill set needed for developing future-proof and sustainable products and product-service systems. This Minor has a modular structure enabling students with different academic backgrounds to participate. Students can choose between a studio-based and a research-based design project, and select additional courses to complement their chosen project. Exchange students team up with HdM degree students, building a strong creative community. After completing the Minor, students will have acquired both practical and methodical skills in design research and project work, as well as knowledge in typography, creative printing, usability engineering, innovation management, and sustainable design.
