About the Program

The Integrative Social Sciences program at RPTU examines social science questions from various perspectives. In addition to the disciplines of political science, sociology, and social science methodology found at other universities, the fields of pedagogy, philosophy, and psychology provide additional perspectives on social contexts. Contributions from economics and law complete the Bachelor's program in Integrative Social Sciences. The program includes basic modules in political science, sociology, educational science, economics, philosophy of science, and methodology. From the second semester, students can choose various competence modules. In the second half of the three-year study phase, students complete a 12-week internship, choose a specialization module, and write a bachelor's thesis.
