About the Program

This Bachelor's degree course in Interdisciplinary Healthcare and Management provides qualified healthcare professionals (nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists) with the tools to structure their day-to-day practice and attain management positions. The course is designed to be compatible with continued work in their profession. It provides an academic foundation for exploring and implementing profession-specific and interdisciplinary methodologies and approaches, teaching students to use targeted methods for planning healthcare services and managing resources. The six-semester program builds on students' prior professional experience, with the first two semesters focusing on healthcare professions as academic disciplines, public health, interdisciplinary communication, health economics, and more. Later semesters cover research methods, HR management, health systems, and health policy, with a practical placement included. The course aims to provide specific knowledge and skills in science and research, communication and advice provision, health promotion and disease prevention, health systems and health policy decision-making, and business administration.
