About the Program

In the KU's Interdisciplinary Master's degree program, you can combine different subjects according to your interests. This gives you the opportunity to develop and strengthen your personal profile. Orientation in future professional fields is achieved by choosing individual areas of specialization and is supported by projects and internships. Participation in academic discourse through lecture series with external speakers and opportunities for a stay abroad are also part of the study program. You can choose between two different program profiles: the Flexible profile and the Aisthesis. Cultural and Media Studies profile. In the flexible profile, you combine major and minor subjects according to your interests, with a major subject (30-80 ECTS), Studium.Pro (5 ECTS), an internship (5 ECTS), and a Master's thesis (30 ECTS). In the Aisthesis profile, you combine a major subject (30 ECTS), a minor subject (25 ECTS), modules in the profile area (25 ECTS), Studium.Pro (5 ECTS), an internship (5 ECTS), and a Master's thesis (30 ECTS).
