About the Program

Addressing the major societal issues of a rapidly changing future in the context of digitalization while studying on an individual basis: this is what the unique master's program "Interdisciplinary Research Master | IRMA" offers. Within the framework of the interdisciplinary two-year master's program, students are largely free to design their own curriculum alongside their own research project, in the spirit of liberal education. The program is designed for students with bachelor degrees in economics, sociology, cultural studies and philosophy, communication studies, and political and administrative sciences. It is particularly aimed at students with an interest in digitalization from a holistic perspective, who would like to work on a project basis. The program creates space to address scientific challenges in depth and to tackle big questions, enabling students to think things through and implement an innovative research idea between economy, culture, and politics.
